When not showing property, Templeton and her family are active in the community. She can frequently be found on the soccer sidelines cheering on her 17-year-old son, Hannon, goalie for Oceanside Collegiate Academy and USA Mount Pleasant Soccer Club, or helping time swim meets for her 13-year-old daughter, Laney.

She and her family take full advantage of the easy access to the local waterways and are avid boaters. Templeton is also a savy USTA League tennis player.
